FSBA walked the board through how applications will be handled: candidates must submit a completed packet — résumé with signed cover letter, up to three recommendation letters, current certifications and transcripts — to receive an applicant number. Messina explained that applicant numbers determine semifinalist order to keep the process fair and transparent.
