Engineer seeks ODOT cooperation on Schoning Road bridge; estimated cost $2.5M
The county engineer requested cooperation with ODOT to replace a Schoning Road bridge in Morgan Township with an estimated project cost of $2,496,352; ODOT will provide 100% of eligible project costs up to a maximum of $2,681,700. The board also reviewed a stormwater assessment of $254.04 per lot per year for Hughes Retreat.

The county engineer asked the commissioners to approve advertising for several road projects and to cooperate with the Ohio Department of Transportation on a Schoning Road bridge replacement in Morgan Township. The engineer gave an estimated project cost of $2,496,352 and said ODOT will cover 100% of eligible costs up to a maximum of $2,681,700, subject to the agreement on the consent agenda.
