County Attorney Vic Pearson asked the board to award outgoing Sheriff Dave Fryar his service handgun, badge and card, citing Idaho Code 31-830 as the authority for the donation. Commissioner Zan Bowles made the motion to donate the service weapon; Commissioner Zach Stewart seconded and the board voted unanimously to approve the request.
