A community representative told commissioners that a letter had been sent asking for $1,531.88 to cover maintenance costs and described the community-development impact of the garden. "Mister Morrison and I sent a letter out to all the commission also about the community garden and he's asked asking for the maintenance budget, for $1,531.88," the representative said.
