The full story

County staff told the commission that Andover negotiated a KDOT cost share totaling approximately $2,875,000 for US‑400 improvements and asked the county to contribute $500,000 from previously reserved ARPA funds. A staff member explained that KDOT asked for an MOU between the city and county so the payment can be processed; the payment will then flow through the city to KDOT to move the project forward.
