Bob Shagas, a Hampton Township resident, told the council that deer have become a regular presence in his neighborhood, saying, “We usually have 5 to 10 between our lawn and the next door lawn in the evening, sleeping there.” He urged the township to take “a serious look” at a regional deer‑control program similar to those in nearby communities.
