The council voted unanimously to authorize the City Clerk or Mayor to sign documents related to American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds on behalf of the city. The motion was made by Schanze and seconded by Beitelspacher and recorded as "Ayes; All." No dollar amounts or specific ARPA allocations were discussed at the July 12 meeting; a fuller ARPA discussion was scheduled for the August 9 meeting.
