Grand Mound council approves donations, resolutions and back pay
Council authorized donations to the Clinton YWCA and the Grand Mound Historical Building Committee, adopted resolutions naming depositories and salaries, and approved retroactive 3% back pay for the city clerk.

During its Jan. 13 meeting the Grand Mound City Council approved a motion by Tami Guy (second by Kurt Crosthwaite) to donate $500 to the Clinton YWCA in July 2015; a separate motion by Darrell Warren (second by Guy) approved a $3,000 donation to the Grand Mound Historical Building Committee. Both motions were recorded as passed unanimously.
