Commissioner proposes public works reorganization to improve project coordination

Commissioner Gallo outlined a proposal to better coordinate the county’s road and bridge, engineering and building maintenance functions under a public-works/capital-projects administrator. He said the aim is not to eliminate directors but to add an administrator who would "coordinate all these projects" and address recurring communication issues on overlapping capital work.
