Superintendent Brian briefed the board that the FCC is reviewing the E‑Rate program and has signaled possible cuts that could reduce the discount the district receives. "E rate is right around 75%. So, like, if something costs a $100, we would only have to pay 25," he said, noting that districts have saved "to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars" from the program in recent years.
