Dr. Dowy and facilities lead TJ provided the board with an update on several simultaneous athletic-field projects across the district, including Alexandria, Weaver, White Plains and Pleasant Valley. Work on most fields is substantially complete but progress slowed when crews encountered unexpected underground septic lines and unsuitable soils; at Weaver the team had to bring in additional fill and one field still requires trucking and grading before turf can be laid.
