County adopts FY2026 transportation amendments, lists five road and bridge projects
DeKalb County amended its FY2026 County Transportation Plan to add five FAEF projects (striping, bridge maintenance and replacements, HDPE pipe liner) with line-item costs the commission approved unanimously.

County Engineer Ben Luther presented an amendment to the FY2026 County Transportation Plan July 14 to add a set of FAEF projects and a bridge replacement in the Painter area. The plan amendment includes five projects with the following approximate line-item costs: striping on CR 27/50/89/122 ($12,308.00), Bridge over Bear Creek (CR 270) ($42,242.72), Bridge over Miller Creek (CR 823) ($19,468.00), HDPE Pipe Liner (CR 155) ($91,750.00), and replace bridge on Broomstraw Branch (CR 24) ($47,573.00).
