District 300 reported 966 students completed Summer Read 300 (third year). Eastview Elementary, Algonquin Middle and Jacobs High were the participation winners; the D300 Foundation provided t-shirts and LAMP Incorporated donated Nintendo Switch devices for raffle winners.

Nick Poole, District 300 director of literacy, presented the Summer Read 300 review, saying the program is in its third year and partnered with eight local library districts. "In total, we had 966 District 300 students complete the Summer Read 300 Summer Reading Program," Poole told the board.
