The Kyrene governing board unanimously approved a teacher performance pay plan that maintains a $1,000 stipend for eligible teachers. Dr. Susie Ostermeyer presented the plan, saying it covers a broad set of instructional roles and combines individual teaching practice, student academic‑progress measures and a 17‑hour professional development requirement to determine eligibility.
