The Arlington County Board convened in a closed meeting on July 9, 2026, at 1:33 PM to discuss the performance of a Board appointee under authority of state law. "As authorized by Virginia Code sections 2.2-3711.A.1 for the following purpose: Discussions regarding the performance of a Board appointee," the motion to enter closed session was made by Chair Matt de Ferranti and seconded by Member Takis Karantonis; it carried 5 to 0.
