Magpies to request one-year extension for beautification grant; RadioShack project proceeding
Staff reported Magpies will ask for a one-year extension because financing is not yet complete; RadioShack project siting is underway and Burry/Botchnot remain uncertain pending further contact.

Staff member (S2) updated the commission on 2026 beautification grantees and requests for extensions. S2 said, "Magpies will be asking for an extension. They have not gotten their financing in order this year. They're finally getting their financing in order for their project, and, they're planning on moving forward with breaking ground next spring."
