Board advances several policy updates and hears school program reports
Board approved Policy 533 (second reading) and four policies in a single reading, reviewed first readings of three additional policies, heard quarterly fund updates and received reports on school routines, attendance and safety drills.

The board approved Policy 533 on its second reading and approved Policies 402, 423, 521 and 722 in a single reading during the Sept. 16 meeting. Superintendent Jon Graff told the board that updates to Policy 533—including language on food/beverage practices and procedures for reporting triennial assessment results—"must be implemented for the district to remain compliant with Federal Law." The board approved the policies unanimously.
