The board recognized Public Works roads manager David Manus, who will retire Sept. 30 after 17 years of service; colleagues praised his institutional knowledge and the board held a short reception and photo opportunity.

Chair (speaker 1) read a plaque honoring David Manus and noted his service history and job titles dating back to 2009. Multiple supervisors and county staff gave tributes highlighting Manus’s technical expertise, institutional knowledge and rapport with crews and residents; Reid Larson, county engineer, urged Manus to consider future roles and said Manus had been an excellent internal partner.
