Town staff answered council questions about proposed water investments and the likely next steps on rates during the Sept. 22 budget presentation. Justin (staff) told council the town needs to address legacy service lines and aging meters before they lead to failures, and staff will issue an RFP for meters followed by a formal rate study to set user charges.
