The Downtown Development Authority voted unanimously to direct staff to develop a social-district proposal and provide a recommendation to the city council. Committee member (speaker 7) moved to have staff — specifically Director Connor Wallman — pursue the district at the DDA level and return parameters for council review; the motion passed on a roll call.
