Sole Commissioner Harold Collins adopted revisions to Chapter 78, Article II (Sections 78-34 and 78-38) of the Union County Code of Ordinances on Aug. 6, 2026, intended to clarify language about preferred sites for cell-tower placement. Commissioner Harold Collins adopted revisions to Chapter 78, Article II of the Union County Code of Ordinances (Tower and Antenna Standards) during a called meeting at the Union County Courthouse on Aug. 6, 2026. The minutes state the meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. and adjourned at 10:03 a.m.
