The Cayuga County Judicial & Public Safety Committee approved Resolution 9-26-JP-2 on Sept. 9, authorizing the chair to execute a 2026–2027 Gun Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) grant to the Probation Department for $90,800. Legislator Ben Vitale moved the resolution; Hans Pecher seconded it and the minutes record the motion as carried with all in favor.
