The Planning Commission approved an extension to Dec. 31, 2026 for PUD performance standards related to the Defiance Place Apartments at 1850 North Clinton Street to allow contractor and architect reviews to proceed.

The commission on July 20 granted a request to extend the PUD performance standards for Defiance Place Apartments (parcels totaling 58.88 acres at 1850 North Clinton Street). Applicant representative Nathan Waggner said contractors and architects are still reviewing plans and asked for additional time; he added that he hopes the extension will not be necessary long-term.
