Plats & Plans subgroup says draft reforms will reorganize site-plan rules to improve predictability
Representatives from the Virginia Municipal League and Home Builders Association told the Code Commission the Plats & Plans subgroup has largely negotiated key points and is reorganizing statutory language (including 15.2 provisions) to standardize terminology and streamline local site-plan and subdivision review; a September work session was scheduled to produce a near-final draft.
