Nebraska Public Media submits Ready to Learn grant and advances educational digital tools
The Commission heard that Nebraska Public Media is part of a consortium led by PBS SoCal and KET that submitted a Ready to Learn grant on July 8 and is developing educational products including family-engagement workshops, a crossword interface, Civics Scribble expansion and a Steam Early Access release scheduled for Sept. 17.

Nebraska Public Media is participating in a Ready to Learn grant consortium led by PBS SoCal and KET and submitted its application by the July 8 deadline, the Commission was told. Sr. Director of Education Jessica Mitchell-McCollough said the grant call was opened May 8 and staff are awaiting award decisions.
