Principal reports benchmarks, field trips and student events; Bluebonnet math strong, reading needs work

Principal Amber Palmer reported benchmark testing is complete, a high school attendance trip took about 75 students, Bluebonnet math is performing well while reading requires extra work, and TIA data submission may lead to three teacher designations pending validation.

Principal Amber Palmer summarized academics and student life at the Oct. 13 meeting. "Bluebonnet math is going exceptionally well, but the reading is a work in progress," Palmer wrote in her report. She also noted the first attendance trip included about 75 high school students, the first six-week grading period ended Sept. 19, and the district submitted TIA data and is looking at designating three teachers once validation is complete.
