Trustee Mark de los Santos asked the board to call a special meeting and approve a forensic audit of district finances, saying recent audit figures and alleged staff grievances show the board was not given complete information when major payroll decisions were made. "I am calling for a special board meeting next Monday, January 26, 2026," he said during a long statement asking for rapid review and possible interim leadership changes.
