Speakers were identified directly from the transcript. Where a speaker did not explicitly state a name or role, a functional label consistent with meeting cues was assigned (for example, the person who repeatedly led the meeting is labeled "Chair"). Diane was explicitly identified by the Chair; other participants are labeled by role when supported by transcript cues (Town clerk, Staff member, Committee member, Road foreman, Resident).
