Several park projects set to open in mid‑September as construction delays ease

Parks staff provided a construction update at the July 27 commission meeting, listing firm target dates for projects delayed earlier in the year. The east field is slated to open to the public on or about Sept. 15 after completion of an establishment and maintenance period. Town Park playground construction was described as starting Aug. 10 with an anticipated finish around Sept. 15. Meny Park is largely complete and scheduled to open Sept. 14.
