Human Services reports program activity, grant application and rising institutional costs
Human Services staff reported community outreach through National Night Out, a letter of intent for a Rural Health Transformation Care Coordination grant, Birth-to-3 summer participation (about 40 families, 10 children), and an expected 10% rise in institutional costs next fiscal year.

Jessica Mijal briefed the committee on several Human Services items, including outreach and program delivery. She said Baraboo hosted its first National Night Out with Human Services and Baraboo Police Department participation; Jenna Greenwood helped plan and staffed a booth. Mijal said attendance could have been better and planners may change the approach next year.
