At an emergency meeting on June 25, 2026, the Bolton Select Board voted to authorize contractor ECI to begin emergency stabilization work on Duxbury Road after the roadway experienced significant slope failure and erosion that risked making the road impassable. The motion to authorize ECI was moved by Rich Reid and seconded by Ryan Farrell and passed four to zero; Paula Gervia was recorded as abstaining due to connectivity issues.
