After reconvening from closed session the board recommended Charles Carter for appointment to the BZA and voted to move the October workshop from Oct. 6 to Oct. 5 at 5 p.m.; the workshop will include audit follow-up and financial reporting items.

After a closed (executive) session for personnel and legal consultation, the Board of Supervisors reconvened and certified that only the matters identified in the motion were discussed. The board then approved a recommendation to appoint Charles Carter (from District 1) to the Board of Zoning Appeals following the executive-session discussion.
