The Village of Denton Board of Trustees unanimously approved Resolution No. 2026-3 on March 2, 2026, authorizing the Municipal Clerk/Treasurer to make payroll payments, utility payments, insurance and other recurring monthly expenses prior to claims approval at the next board meeting. The resolution cites the Fair Labor Standards Act and Neb. Rev. Stat. 48-1230 and 17-714 as reasons for timely payment.
