The Dowagiac City Council voted unanimously on Sept. 8 to approve Resolution 2025-30, authorizing the city's request to the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for a Home Rehab Project. The motion to approve was moved by Councilmember Bakeman and seconded by Councilmember Gross; the minutes record the outcome as "Voted Yes: All. Motion carried."
