Santa Rosa Independent School District received a "Superior" rating on its FY2022–2023 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) worksheet, with a final score of 96 out of 100, according to the Annual Financial Accountability Management Report presented at the Dec. 16 special public hearing. The report shows the district's FY2023 Annual Financial Report (AFR) was received by the Texas Education Agency on Nov. 21, 2023, and independent auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the June 30, 2023 audit.
