The full story
The County Board on May 10 approved a multi‑part financing package to support the Goodwill redevelopment at 10 S. Glebe Road, allocating Affordable Housing Investment Funds (AHIF) and HOME funds to Affordable Homes and Communities (AHC) or county‑approved affiliates. The approvals authorize AHIF loans and HOME loans to enable the development of two Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects — a 9% LIHTC project (“Goodwill 9”) and a 4% LIHTC project (“Goodwill 4”) — that together will deliver 128 committed affordable units (63 units in Goodwill 9 and 65 units in Goodwill 4 according to the staff report).
