The Gary Redevelopment Commission voted Sept. 23 to approve Resolution 7749, which amends a memorandum of understanding to include Center Workforce Innovations (CWI) as a co-applicant for redevelopment work at 529 Washington Street. Director Harris told commissioners the change clarified prior language that had referenced "Northwest Indiana Works" and was necessary for the joint grant submission and partnership structure.
