Francis Thumpaceri, founder of Permit Flow, told a HUD-hosted panel that his company applies an AI "application layer" to the permitting process so builders can prepare and submit permit applications with fewer delays. "Our AI agents are handling everything from evaluating scope to handling the research for projects to preparing applications all the way through to submission," he said, arguing the approach makes construction "faster, more predictable, more affordable."
