A legislator brought forward a local law to amend Chapter 55 (Board of Ethics) so that nomination authority would be shared among the county executive, the legislative chair and the minority leader. The proposal would change the nomination rotation for five seats and would, as drafted, disband any prior board and establish new staggered terms.
