During Unfinished Business on April 7, the Town Prosecutor updated the council on two outstanding nuisance enforcement matters. The court is still awaiting a response from the property owner Higginbotham (604 Madison) and an upcoming hearing is expected. For Adcox (608 Washington), the prosecutor reported that Adcox appeared in court March 30, 2026, agreed to a $250 payment for the infraction and was given roughly 60 days to complete cleanup with a 45-day check-in; the prosecutor said criminal charges would be filed if the cleanup is not completed.
