The Passenger Vehicle for Hire Board voted to approve a set of new driver permits and renewals at its special meeting on Sept. 24, 2026. The inspector reported that Mark Odishu of Newga Taxi had been approved for a new driver permit, and renewals were approved for Willie Kitchens (Mercury Cab), Mario Rivera (Newga Taxi) and Anthony Dugard (Mercury Taxi).
