Board approves sole-source pool coping stone contract for Community Center pools
Directors approved staff's sole-source recommendation for coping stones for the lap pool and waterpark; staff estimated a 2025-year lifespan for the material.

Director of Programs & Aquatics Scott Newell briefed the board on a sole-source supplier for coping stones needed for the Community Center lap pool and waterpark. Mr. Newell said the proposed coping stones have an expected life of about 20 to 25 years. Director Bob McKenzie moved to accept the recommendation; Director Mark Barbee seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
