Committee backs code amendments to standardize mobile home park rules
Staff told the Business and Economic Development Committee the proposed ordinance would make dimensional rules uniform across mobile home parks so newer parks are not treated as nonconforming; the committee voted to forward the staff recommendation to full council.

Chair Councillor Leonard opened the agenda item and asked staff to present on proposed code changes for mobile home parks. Community Economic Director Ann Krieg said the amendments would make requirements uniform so that parks constructed after 1971 are not made nonconforming by differing dimensional controls.
