Staff member reports planning commission voted to separate required from optional code changes

Staff member updated the council that the planning commission has voted to separate required changes from optional code changes and that commissioners are having robust debates on the optional items. "We reviewed changes to our social media policy and that applies to staff, the city council, committees and commissions. And then we got an update on the planning commission including the fact that they have voted to separate the required from the optional changes to code and are having rich debates on the optional items," the staff member said.
