The committee voted to advance the bulk of the Ethics Advisory Commission's recommended amendments to Chapter 12A to a City Council briefing, while excluding or returning certain items for further work. The committee explicitly removed Recommendation L (donation reporting) and M (cleanup chart tied to donations) from advancement and directed Recommendation K (client-identification/lobbying details) back to a workshop for additional drafting.
