Chris Christian, director of Code Compliance Services, told the committee that enforcement under the proposed entertainment license would be complaint‑driven, start with education, escalate to notices and citations for repeated violations, and allow for appeals to the Permit and License Appeal Board. "Any revocation or suspension decision is able to be appealed to the Permit and License Appeal Board as well," Christian said when asked about checks on director authority.
