New Hall County courthouse making progress; board starts planning office moves
Officials reported drywall and HVAC progress at the new courthouse and discussed securing and moving court files, possible service interruptions, and contracting help for the relocation.

County staff gave commissioners a construction update on the new Hall County courthouse and recommended beginning logistics planning for moving offices and records. A facilities speaker said the first-floor drywall is up, second-floor studs are marked and the third-floor layout is complete though walls are not yet installed; HVAC ductwork and fire-suppression testing are underway. "First floor has got quite a bit of drywall up right now," the facilities speaker said, and commissioners were invited to walk the site.
