WSDOT updates BPAC on SR‑500 design progress and I‑5 paving scoping
A WSDOT representative reported SR‑500 (Fourth Plain to 76th) is advancing but not yet at 30% design and said the agency is scoping mainline and ramp paving on I‑5 with early community engagement and site visits planned.

Dylan Bass, lead for the Washington State Department of Transportation’s police/streets team in the Southwest Region, briefed BPAC on several state projects. "The SR500 Fourth Plain to 76th Street project is moving along. Not quite at 30% design yet," Bass said, noting curb ramp work and intersection design are active items and ADA/PROWAG compliance is a challenge at some intersections.
