Board approves RFQ for general counsel and eases some qualification requirements
The Corpus Christi BC Corporation authorized an RFQ for general counsel (item 261487) and approved amending Exhibit B to move two experience requirements from mandatory to preferred to broaden the candidate pool.

The board voted to authorize an RFQ for general counsel in accordance with item 261487, exhibits A and B as amended. Before that formal vote, members debated the proposed minimum qualifications and whether several items—such as extensive litigation experience or high aggregate project-dollar thresholds—should be mandatory.
