During its review of the Future Land Use methodology (version 3.0, revised April 18, 2025), the Pomfret Planning Commission agreed that Pomfret fits the Rural General category within Tier 2. Commissioners agreed to use the maps they prepared for the town and to make any necessary legend modifications to ensure clarity.
